about a week ago asaf ramon the son of ilan ramon died due to an aircraft crash during training flight

his craft (f-16a) gratually got closer and closer to the ground until the crash

he was probably unconscious during this time

why the aircraft computer didnt do anything?

What do you mean? What was the cause of the crash? Do you have a link ot a report on the crash?

An onboard computer is not going to make a miracle happen and keep a plane from crashing.

It is unwise to speculate the cause of the crash before the investigation by those trained to do aviation accident investigation is done. Until the official results are made public, speculations on cause are guesses.

That being said, I was saddened to hear about this. Mrs. Ramon must be beside herself.

Agreed Eric. Speculating about a cause of a crash is foolish. Let the experts do their jobs.
