Automatic Pilot Directional Gyro control wiring

Hello,
found this great forum and spent few hours reading. unfortunately didnt find an answer to my question, so i am wondering if someone knows how to do it.
I recently bought an automatic pilot box, made by general electric model number 8KC3AC, description is automatic pilot directional gyro control, with navy stock number on it. I am wondering where it was used and how to connect it? insides look good, i believe there are three wires go inside the gyro motor itself. Can this be done with simple power adapters or something more complicated?

As memo serves it was used in the DC-3, C-47 Cargo, Catalina.

not really, the only reference on the net to this device is from the old auction and it says it was used in these crafts, but looking at the cockpit pictures it is not the case

Is your looking like the one from the old auction? If it is , it seems that it is a part of the entire device. Looking at these of DC-3 and C-41 I've gotten an impression that the left panel is for the direction control and the right one is for altitude. So it is possible that RAF and the USAAF used similar in work but looking a little bit different panels.

yes, exactly like the auctioned one. i guess i figured it is 115V 400hz 3-phase motor. now where to get the power supply..
