I have often seen references to a bomb carrier designed by Avro to fit in the bulged bomb bay of later model Mosquitos. It was to carry 6 x 250lb or 6 x 500lb MC/GP bombs.

Does anybody have any pictures or diagrams of the Avro bomb carrier?

I'll have a look through my references - I know I certainly have a drawing and pics of the wing pylon and shackles, but not sure of the bulged bay carriers.

Personally, I can't recall ever having seen a pic or a drawing of the Avro bomb carrier.

Me neither.

I e-mailed the de Havilland museum's technical address about this, but haven't received a reply. Perhpas I should e-mail their general address.

The other people to ask, I suppose, is BAe Systems.

I've had a look and can't find anything. Sorry to tell you that the part of BAe systems which used to be Avro has closed, after more than 100 years of existence - sore point where I live - so unlikely to get any help there. The Avro Heritage Centre might have had something (currently still hanging on at the BAe Woodford site), but having asked, they don't know of it.
The general address for the Mosquito Museum would be your best bet. If any one knows, they will. I say general address, as it is mostly volunteer staff, so any communications will eventually be passed to the relevant person.
