I'm a huge fan of the Lanc also.

I've got an extensive database of bomber command losses during the war that I compiled during my many visits to the national archives in Kew, while repairing their scanning microfilm machines. If you have any relatives lost in combat i'll see if theres any info that i have that could fill in the details...
 
Yes in reply to an earlier question, Lancaster FM212 is being rebuilt to fly. Wether she will or not remains to be decided but repairs such as the current rebuild of the wingtips and tailpanes are being done to airworthy standards.
 
There was a small 32 page booklet on Lancaster R5868 (OL-Q 83 Sqd, PO-S 467 Sqd) that lists all the 137 missions it flew (target, crew bomb load, flight time). Many of the mission are described in the text.

Don't know if the RAF Museum still carries it as it was obtained many, many years ago.
