This is cool. However the Liberator is not of the version. You fit the art marking to the B-24D while the real one was the B-24J. The full name type is B-24J-160-CO s/n. 44-40428. Pay your attention to the different noses of the D and J variant of the Liberator.

And a minor discrepancy ...

I think yes there are. But it has to be browsed tons of refrences. The easiest way seems to be using of the Google.

Are these War Thunder liveries? I made a few a decade ago and the 3D model looks familiar. I have seen a few of those models extracted and used in Garry's Mod. That one was also labelled a B-24D-25-CO (despite not being one, the D-25 did not have a ball turret).

Nah, it would be better to work on the B-25; I picked this specific kit to start with. By the way, what's that written behind the engine? I can see the silhouette of a ship.

The North American B-25J-25-NC Mitchell s/n. 44-30748 ... but actually she seems to be the incorrect type of the Mitchell. The orginal one shpuld to be the B-25C or D variant without the inscriptions there.

Hi Wurger,

As best as I can tell these are using War Thunder 3D models, and that game only has certain versions of each aircraft. Regarding the B-24 and B-25, the only depictions of either in the game are:
B-24D-25-CO = incorrectly named, since it has the Sperry ball turret that was only introduced on the B-24D-140, which is funny because I remember they used to call it just B-24D
B-25J-1 = glass nosed, fairly accurate though the geometry particularly around the cockpit and engine cowlings is off.
B-25J-20 = same 3d model as above but with added blind landing antenna (inop) and a 2nd fixed .50 in the nose.
PBJ-1H = same 3d model but fitted with wingtip radar (inop) and H-style cannon nose, cockpit glazing changed slightly
PBJ-1J = same as above but fitted with the 8 gun nose instead, bit of a vague name here

I am guessing that modeling planes on the computer may be the next thing, and it is fun to see computer models of kits I have built, as well as my model being used to show examples. I think the computer models are absolutely stunning, and must be fun to be seen in games if used there. I have modeled The Squaw and The Blue Streak in 1/48th using the Monogram kits. I can attest that neither set of decals is 100% correct. The Blue Streak Decals are my own and are missing the Port Side rear fuselage markings. I did not find out about them until all the artwork was done and my decals had been printed.
