I would like to invite all of you to come on by at B-25.NET and check us out.
For those of you unfamiliar with this type of aircraft and/or the website, it is dedicated to the crew of the North American B-25J, Mitchell Bomber, Heavenly Body and was of the type of aircraft that the Doolittle Raiders used in their amazing retaliatory raid on the Japanese that lifted America's morale after repeated suffering defeats in the Pacific theater. It was one of many pivotal moments in the war.
The B-25 was used in all theater of operations, but most famously in the South Pacific and Mediterranean.
We are striving to make one of the best places on the web for information on the North American Aviation B-25 Mitchell bomber. We have recently updated the site to include a forum for B-25 comments and discussions as well as a number of other additions and improvements. The intent is not to step on anybody's forum "toes" or steal away people from here, but rather to make first hand knowledge available to people on the B-25 that would otherwise be impossible or difficult to find. Heavenly Body is still flying today and on a regular basis and is flown and maintained by an all-volunteer crew. Heavenly Body has been attending and participating at airshows throughout the U.S.A. from the mid 1970's, to the present day. We are at your service.
Best Regards,
Douglas
