1951 - "The Wild Blue Yonder" uploaded to youtube recently (Feb. 2025) is a remarkable WW2 war movie featuring the B-29 Superfortress. Forrest Tucker and Ed Harris star!

I just watched this on YouTube. At time 1.04.42 of the movie after the B29 crew have just destroyed a Japanese ship, what appears to be a B727 briefly appears. See attachment. Must be some more recent than 1951 editing! Anyone else noticed???

A good catch.
IMHO it is a mix of parts from the movie and the orginal footages taken at different time. If we take a closer look at the video we may find more howlers. At the time 1.01.17 the dilapidating building is a part of the quite well known footage taken in Warsow , Poland 1939. What is more most of the pictures of the gun camera were taken by the fighter pilots but not by B-29 gunners. And also these are well known images not necessarily taken over the Pacific.
