I am looking for a good drawing/diagram of the modifications made to the
B-29A that carried the first two Bell X-1's...I have some pretty good photo's
from the Dryden Flight Test Center archives, but can't put my finger on
anything that could be used to get true dimensions. Any help is greatly
    appreciated.

After a quick search I came up with these two pictures. Hopefully it will help, will keep looking though. Pictures are labeled where they came from. Bascially NASA's Web Site.
