B29 FIFI back in the air

    The only flying B29 in the world was at Deer Valley airport in Phoenix, AZ November 14 15 16 17.
    Man what a show.

    I agree, sent chills down my spine. This was the second time I saw a B29 in the air. The first was just a few days earlier when I saw her come in over the beach in Carlsbad, CA while on vacation. I was taken by complete surprise. Then to find out she would be in Phoenix. Could not wait to get back from vacation...LOL

    I can't wait to see her again. Last time was 1975 in Harlingen Texas. Maybe this weekend if she will be back in Addison.

    Last time I saw her, I was sitting inside of FIFI during a rainstorm at an airshow in Olathe, Kansas. Can't remember the year, but it must have been sometime in the early 70's.

    Absolutly. Might just be may favorite WWII plane, next to the B17, P51, P38,
    Oh there are so many.
