Ok guys I'm getting daring. I've got an el-cheap-o Airfix f-86 sabre and I'm thinking it might be a good subject to try using foils to make a NMF. Does anyone know of any good video tutorials that might help?

Also anyone tried this? In sites? Experience? I know it may be easier to just use paints but I want to give this a shot.

Done it about thirty years ago. Looks good if done right, but a real pain in the Rs to do, very time consuming and frustrating. Each area or panel needs to be done individually, with whatever varying tones, in order to achieve a good result, which can result in some wastage of materials if not cut accurately.
That said, I have a 1/48th scale BAC Lighting to do, where I'll probably use foil for at least some areas.
