I didn't say it flew badly. I said it was ugly. And I have to stand by that claim.

Might be a agricultural wonder, but it's makes the north end of a southbound jackass look somewhat inviting.

What did they used to say? She's UGLY, but she sure can cook!

Ah but that just serves to blow all that engine heat back on the pilot! FW190 on steroids.
True, but then again NZ is the land of the long wet cloud so a certain amount of warm airflow is needed to dry the socks and everyone knows how painful frozen socks would be. Of course the airframe driver would need to continuously regulate the balance of the cooling air from the wind flogging fan via the ventilation scoop and the radiated warmth provided by Pratt and Whitney via the firewall.
On the good side though it would sound a lot like a T-6 and that is almost as heavenly as bacon.
