Not surprising. Russian Naval Aviation received ex-Soviet Union Be-12. Reportedly nine Be-12 are still in operation with the Black Sea Fleet. There is no better emplacement in the Black Sea than Crimea.

I took another look at the shot. The rear two don't seem to have props. Someone able to magnify the picture?Seeing them parked like that makes me wonder if they're operational…

they are not - i remember about 5 years ago all have been put on sale for couple bottles of vodka but all have been in tragic technical condition no customers have been found...Seeing them parked like that makes me wonder if they're operational…
