Bf109G-10 OR G14A/S 'Red 2'

Hi all.

I' new on here, but have been building WW2 models for a few years. I'm planning to build a model of the BF109G-10/ G14A/S of JG300, Red 2, named 'Rita'. I have seen 3 photos of this aircraft (two on Jagdgeschwader 300 "Wilden Sau" | Home | wichtige Worte) and one as a result of a Google search, but none of the pictures show the tail wheel of this particular aircraft. I'd like to ask if anybody knows which type of tail wheel this aircraft had? Was it the 'tall' tailwheel, or the older G-6 style one?

Bf 109G-10 W.Nr. 490 642 (Erla-Leipzig) "red 2" from 2./JG 300 most definatley had the short tailwheel. Interesting thing about this machine is that it may have used the DB 605/ASM engine.
