One night we were returning from a training flight a member of the crew suggested we buzz New Orleans, LA. we were located west of the city and decided we would go down Canal Street. This is one of the main streets through the down town area. So we had a go at it at a very low level. When passing the Roosevelt Hotel we were level with their roof top sign. This was on a Saturday and we made front page headlines in the Sunday morning paper. The Air Force launched an unsuccessful investigation. Thank goodness this took place prior to the aircraft identification being added to the under surface of the wing,

And then there was the Hurricane pilot flying over an amorous couple in a punt around Cambridge, he buzzed them until the guy fell out into the water trying to get his trousers back on.
