My first duty station was at the 436 AMS, 436 MAW, Dover AFB Del. this was back in early 78-December 80. While there the US sold the Swiss some F-5 fighters. How there got there was via C-5. I found this photo taken some time later by someone else which depicts the situation. The C-5A could carry up to 8 F-5's but due to wing loading issues was restricted at the time to 6. The other two are a graphic depiction of the Hugh difference in size of the C-5 v C-17.
