Has any of the members reported damage by the fires?

When I lived on the Avenue in Ventura, the hills above caught a fire about 500 yards from my home. It went from tiny to chimney in about an hour. Thankfully VCSD heloes came and dumped buckets on it, but it chewed up the hills on the backside of City Hall before they got it sorted. My pics died with that old phone, but I sat atop my garage watching the firefighting for all the afternoon.

I hope all involved get out safely, and mourn the 15 reported dead thus far.

24 dead confirmed fear for more. It is horrible. Worst is yet to come. Tomorrow wind is picking up to 100 kmh.
