Can anyone ID this cap badge.

I am in NZ at present and a friend and his family disagree which family member is in a particular photo.

Given one brother was in the RNZAF in England and the other in the RNZAF in the Pacific I was wondering if the badge on the cap to the left of the buttons may provide the answer.

Does anybody know what the badge is and if it was exclusive to Europe or the Pacific? The original photo is about 70mm high.

The RNZAF did not wear cap badges other than the RNZAF Badge. Whatever this badge is it will be unofficial. I suggest you contact the Air Force Museum of New Zealand (the RNZAF Museum) at Wigram. They have an expert in RNZAF uniforms: email - [email protected]
