This obscure plane saw quite limited service during ww2. It was designed from the tri-engine ca.101, and despite the reliability risk of a single engined bomber (especially inline engines), it turned out to be a good decision. It was faster than the ca.101 and the ca.133. It mostly served in prewar conflicts. A very important achievement of this plane is that it became the very 1st plane to drop paratroopers in combat in the Americas. This was during the 1941 Zarumilla war. Armament was from 3-6 0.30 Cal machine guns, some were fitted with an offensive gun. It had a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph) and could actually carry a very impressive 2,000kg (4,410lb) payload, and could even push 2,800kg (6,170lb) with modifications.
