I know this is last minute but.....
My hometown airport (Coles County Airport) is having it's annual airshow tomorrow. Now I know it's a long way away for non-pilots but if ya fly and want to fly in it starts at 10:00 in the morning. (CST)
This is the Coles County Airshow in Mattoon , Illinois. The aerobatics show starts at noon. It's free to get in and free parking. It lasts till 4pm. The WWII a/c to be present that I know of is a Mustang, PV-1 Ventura (only 2 flying) ,a military transport(as stated by the local daily wipe) , and some T-6 Texans. Possibley more but was not mentioned.
Will try to get pics on here Sunday. I didn't even know it was going till today. I thought it had been cancelled. My apologies for the extreme short notice.
