Closure at US Border Processing Center

I'm not allowed to create news posts, so I'm putting it here: This should not be interpreted as a political matter, but merely an inquiry into public safety.

A U.S. Border Patrol processing center in McAllen, Texas has been temporarily closed: Basically people are coming in with very high fevers and border patrol agents are calling in with record rates of illnesses, so they're moving detainees to other locations.



I'm curious what's come of this since this was reported in early May, has there been any additional reports of illnesses where they moved additional detainees, or has this been contained good?

Health concerns regarding illegal immigrants date at least from the 90s when SecState Clinton devoutly did not want the info made public. What was released to my knowledge came from leaks within Phoenix PD and possibly Maricopa County Sheriff's Dept. Same situation regarding Mexican police and allegedly military involved in drug smuggling and human trafficking in AZ. At one point Phoenix ranked well up in world cities regarding kidnaping for ransom (don't recall the sources but there were multiples). Meanwhile, large tracts of public land in S Arizona have been posted as no-go zones at least since 2006 due to smugglers and inter-gang violence. Turf wars.

That makes sense.

Health concerns date back at least to the late 1800s when many immigrants were turned away at Ellis Island. There was a flurry of "no-go" zone reports in Arizone about 9-10 years ago-strangely restricted to conservative news outlets. Since then, nothing. Guess the problem resolved itself.

This was from this year, so it's not entirely resolved.
