Got my attention. Strategic Air Command is a movie I will always watch despite the saccharine Stewart-Allison romance angle. the aerial photography is superb.

Our ranch was on the low-level route between Fairchild AFB, Washington, and Mountain Home, Idaho. Among my earliest memories are FEELING that huge leviathan headed our way. I swear you could FEEL it before you could see it, and NOTHING ELSE sounded like that. My first B-52 was a disappointment--just eight smoky jet engines!

One could FEEL a C-124 also. I often felt a B-36 and looked up to see a 124.

From listening to B-36 movies for many years, I'd say the Tu-95 and An-22 come pretty close. It must be something to do with having six or more props!
