I know that the 605 was nearly the same as the 601, but my question is, could a 605 be passed off as a 601 visually in 1/48 scale? Are the differences only internal as in the larger bore of the 605.
I may be getting the Aires DB605, but it would be more useful to me in terms of the models in my stash if it were a DB-601. Just wondering if I could use the 605 in and aircraft that was supposed to have the 601.
