DH88 Comet racer damaged.

The Shuttleworth Collection's Comet racer suffered a landing accident at Old Warden this weekend.
Apparently it nosed over and ended up on its back. The pilot was taken to hospital, and released after medical checks.
There was damage to the aircraft's tail structure, but the full extent has yet to be revealed.

Glad the Pilot is OK! I hope it is repairable, but it looks worse on the trailer than on the ground

Well...DAMN! One of my all-time favourite aircraft. Really glad the pilot's ok but heartbreaking to see the aircraft in that state.

Just learned that the damage will be repaired, and the aircraft returned to airworthiness. Good news.
