HI, I have the tail section of an Army Helicopter, Says United States Army 16212 it is marked that on the top and bottom side, I ran just that number and came up with a web site that lists a helicopter 67-16212 was purchased in 1968, used in Camp Eagle Vietnam, Helicopter OH-6A 67-16212 and lists one fatality from an Airman and the tail rotor. The Army Report states it was U.S. Army helicopter OH-6A tail number 67-16212, the 16212 match my the numbers on my Tail, but I think I have a OH- 236 Raven tail because my tail has ribs running down like a picture I found of a Raven Helicopter, Some people I have talked to think it is a-Vietnam-War-Helicopter-Aviation-OH-6A-and-OH-58A I think I have a OH-236 Raven because my tail has ribs running down the length, The Army used a lot of configurations. Any thoughts if my tail is the same as listed in the Army incident for Camp Eagle report. thanks for looking , Steve , See pictures
New Question: Have additional question, why does the serial number not have the year with the dash before the 16212, like all other Army helicopters I have seen? It would make identifying this easier.
