Any one have any additional information on these seldom used gun pods?
They were placed on the late Dauntless SBD's.

Believe it or not, IIRC, these were covered in some detail in the Ginter Book or the Sea Wolf torpedo bomber book. Do you have or do you need scans?

Had another site I posted the same request was presented with this.

Strange thing it was a formation aircraft for a radar jamming squadron flying bombers. The info is on the link below on the Fold3 photo. Have to ask why a formation plane is carrying these pods?

Actually there was a little more I bought the book there is a small drawing info of the ammo per pod.
