Dutch excavation of 83 Squadron Lancaster from Ijsselmeer

In 2023, Guy Martin participated in a Dutch government funded excavation of an 83 Squadron Lancaster from the bottom of Lake Ijssel (Ijsselmeer), NW Netherlands. The main purpose of the project was to find, identify and memorialise the remains of 3 MIA crew members; this was successfully achieved. Worth watching.
