That's true that the top turred was something rare on the C47. But some of them got them as the PS-84/Li-2.

the Lisunov kite had the cargo door open up while the USA plane had the door as the two-part one sideways open. This can be notice in your pic above. What is more, the PS-84/Li-2 kites didn't have the astro nav cupola at the fuselage top behind the pilot cockpit. The one in the pic has it. And the next difference .. the main landing gear rear struts. Both the DC-3/C-47 planes and the licenced russian passenger PS-84 had them of the cradle type with a single support at the rear. In the 1942 when the cargo PS-84 variant named Li-2 appeared, the soviets modified the rear support with the two struts there. The cradle single stick support can be noticed slightly above the starboard light of the truck. About the rectangular window glasses with the rings in I don't mention .
