Just when you think you've seen it all! I had no idea that Lufthansa had ordered this type, let alone 6 of them. However, these would not fit strictly in the beute category, would they? They were commercially ordered. Anyway, thanks for improving my education!

There are several old(ish?) photos on eBay right now showing part of what's labeled as Davis Monthan's scrapyard, and this one in particular caught my eye because it has 8 of the Texans that were converted to Zero surrogates for the movie "Tora Tora Tora." Also a B-17 off to the left. Were these things really cut up after being used in the film?

Ah, I get it now. It was some sort of airshow, or a stopover on the way to one. These are all spiffy examples, not scrapyard material.
