Below, there is the "Mickey Mouse" emblem of the 1./JG 51 (the 1st Staffel) which was part of the I./JG51 (the Ist Gruppe). The one posted in #1419 is just the badge of the First Gruppe of the JG51 (I./JG51) but not of the First Staffel (1./JG51). So the "I" or "1" makes the difference. Therefore my note there.

And two shots of the Bf 109E-1 crashed in France, 1940. The kite belonged to the 1st Staffel of the Ist Gruppe of the JG51 ...

The emblem below the cockpit is of the II Gruppe Kampfgeschwader 3 ( II./KG3 ). The one on the engine cowling indicates 4. or 6. Staffel ( 4. or 6./KG3 ). The 2nd Staffel (2./KG3) belonged to the I Gruppe Kampfgeschwader ( I./KG3 ) and had a different emblem.
