Actually the Kustenfliegergruppe 906 or 406. That's the emblem of the 2./Kü.Fl.Gr.906 (406).

IMHO this is the nose of a Do-18 - check the characteristic 6 wires used as markers for different angles of attack (I'm not quite sure if this is the exact description):

The white marker reads:"Hier aufbocken" - jack up here.
Below another photo, showing the wires:

Actually the 6 lines weren't wires rather but the painted strips/lines on the fuselage. Their length could vary from short to long ones. The 6 metal pins at the line endings were a kind of a front sight using the shooting terminology. A guit well know and easier way of getting of a correct angle during an attack as you said.
However the layout of the panel lines of the metal skin there doesn't fit either the Do-18 or Do-24 or even Do-26. All the flying boats had the curved top covering of the fuselage in front of the cockpit, riveted to the sides along the straight and horizontal line from the bow to the cockpit front windscreen. In the pic with the emblem it can be noticed that the horizonal panel line seen above the emblem is short and is going through the two panels only. Also it can be noticed that there are 5 characteristic narrow rectangle bulges at the rivet line. There is the another panel line on the left of the horizontal one but going diagonally. What is more we may notice two small buckles for attaching of the camouflage net or a rainproof cover for the plane. Additionally there is a horizontal panel line on the right started in halfway up of the panels with the emblem. Taking all that detail into consideration I almost sure that's the nose of the Blohm & Voss BV 138.
