This is an interesting photograph. Ol' Battlin Bitch II has no armament, no radar, and what looks like 3 windows in the forward bomb bay. Is this an unretouched photograph? Is there any information on what types of missions she was used for?

Crew 2: 60th Squadron - 39th Bomb Group (VH)


Per this former crew member it was a path finder on night missions. Not to many night fighters for the Japanese so maybe they stripped the guns for night sorties.
