From the dates I assume that Flo lead a full life. GOOD for the Aussies. The US Army should take note.
In Vietnam 4000 to 5000 dogs served and saved hundreds of lives. Their US Army award was to be classified as "surplus equipment" too costly to return to the states. Over 2000 were systematically killed (whoops PC term: euthanized) in Vietnam by army veterinarians. About 200 to 250 were given to ARVN forces (within a month they were killed and eaten). Many were simply abandoned at their bases as troops withdrew. A lucky 200 or so were sent to other US bases outside Vietnam.
Former handlers begged and pleaded for their dogs return to the States, even offering to pay for their return but were refused .Then again the US Army has always "cared" for its service animals. When the "horse" Calvary was decommissioned the remaining horses were herded together and machine gunned

That's criminal.
