How many USAF, USN, and USMC prop driven fighters were shot down by NK/USSR/PRC prop driven fighters in Korea?

I can't think of any, right off hand. I do recall reading where on one of the early strikes a USN recon F4U was taking pictures while a USAF F-82 (or maybe an F-51) was frantically trying to tell him that he had a Yak on his tail, but the F4U was not shot down.

Did they actually have any F4U-4 in combat in WW2? I think I have only seen photos of them in Korea.

Okay, so a reference work says the first F4U-4 was accepted by the USN on 31 Oct 1944, and that 1912 F4U-4 had been accepted by VJ day, but that relatively few saw combat in WW2.

I always think about the 1/48 Monogram F4U-4 having postwar markings.

Here's a couple F4U-4s, obviously taken out by a piston fighter in '45 ... USS Essex

There were also a few Goodyear built-4s. The Brewster production was over by then.
FG-4 production was terminated on VJ-Day, with only 17 on the assembly line. All 17 were scrapped inside the factory.

67255/67754 Goodyear FG-4 Vought-Sikorsky Model V-166B F4U-4 Corsair was to have been licence built by Goodyear Aircraft Corporation. Contract cancelled

VBF-83 on the Essex continued to use a mix of Vought built F4U-1D and Goodyear built FG-1D until the end of WW2. Essex remained with TF38 in Japanese waters until 3rd Sept when she was sent to Bremerton for a much needed refit before some Magic Carpet trips and then being inactivated in Jan 1947.
