I wonder if it had an elevated position for carrier deck landing, and, if yes, how much it was raised. More in general, I'm curious about this feature, if typical of carrier-based aircraft and what about non-original designs, like Seafire and Sea Hurricane. View during carrier landing approach should be critical, justifying even extreme devices like the movable wing of the F-8 Crusader, but little is said about this.
