Oh, great, more Boeing hysteria on the way ...
Actually, Delta is responsible for maintenance. But you're correct, it's another Boeing.

Lately, it seems Delta had experienced a string of accidents & incidents. The irony is my wife & I took a round trip on Delta to New Orleans & after our cruise, from Atlanta back to Reno ( our residence ). We had a great flight; all on ( ahem) Airbus.

Exactly. The media doesn't care about details like maintenance schedules or inspection rigor, they look at the label on the tin and go charging about.

No doubt the airlines appreciate the focus elsewhere while they can revamp their maintenance without losing ticket-sales, because "it's Boeing's fault".
