After the war he went on speaking tours and loved returning the New Zealand as he had amassed a big following after the publishing of his book. I think he was on his way home after leaving New Zealand at the outbreak of WW2 in 1939. If he had stayed longer he would have been thrown back in prison again!Thank you for that link.
