I've only seen the decals in 1/72 and 1/32, is none available in 1/48?

Oh no, liquoriceing it will take all the green strips off! Don't ever liquorice it

Actually I don't see any need to get any special decals. Just the standard German WW1 crosses and the two "R" letters that can be easy find in many different decal markings.
I was more thinking about those stripes around fuselage my friend....
I see them for 1/72 & 1/32, I can't find them in 1/48, which is kinda weird if you ask me....🤨🤔😆😂👋🏻

I grasped. But such strips may be painted with the masking tape what is a better way to get them applied.

A better way for an artist and wizard like yourself my friend, I'd f🤬ck in 163 different ways, at least half of them would be f🤬ck ups that should be impossible according to the laws of physics! 😉😆😂😁
It still makes me wonder though, 1/48 being as popular as it is and with the Eduard kits, I'm sure that a set with this machine among the choices would fly of the shelves in that scale....

I understand you Pal. But applying decals at a large surface and too oval especially, may be really a pain in the a$$. But I agree an attempt to release the full markings for the kite could be helpful for all.

There was a 1/48 Americal Jasta 5 sheet with decals for this scheme, and IIRC also an FCM (Brazil) 1/48 sheet. Neither looked simple.....
