Huge discoveries about Prehistorical activities in Northern Khorasan province, awaiting confirmation:

North Khorasan (ISNA) – The Deputy of Cultural Heritage at the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of North Khorasan announced that artifacts discovered from the Epipaleolithic period in the province are currently awaiting confirmation.

In an interview with ISNA, Mohammadreza Ghahremanian stated that during surveys conducted over the past year, a number of stone tools were discovered in the province. These tools are believed to belong to the Epipaleolithic period, which predates the Neolithic period by about 50,000 years, although this attribution is still pending official confirmation.

He explained that to confirm these artifacts, the responsible archaeologist must first prepare an academic article on the findings. The abstract of the article and the fieldwork report must then be submitted to the provincial directorate, which will forward them to the Research Institute of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage for verification.

Ghahremanian added that there had been plans to conduct excavations in a cave in Samalqan County, but unfortunately no funding has been allocated this year for archaeological excavations by the directorate. Nevertheless, exploring this cave remains one of the organization's priorities.

He further noted that the most notable feature of the province's museums is their presentation of the documented history of North Khorasan. According to him, North Khorasan is among the provinces that have undergone extensive archaeological excavations and studies, and therefore many of the objects preserved in the museum storerooms originate from different historical periods and belong to the province itself.

The official continued that in the Manuscript Documents Museum, most of the preserved items also originate from the region, including endowment deeds (waqf documents), peace agreements, sales contracts, and similar historical records.

Regarding the artifacts kept in the museum storerooms of the province, he said the oldest items date back to the Neolithic period, when humans first formed settled communities and transitioned from cave-dwelling and hunting to village life and agriculture.

He added that artifacts from this period were discovered at Tappeh Khan in Samalqan County and Pahlavan Hill in Jajarm, followed by finds from the Chalcolithic (Copper–Stone), Bronze Age, and Iron Age.

According to the Deputy of Cultural Heritage of North Khorasan, the storerooms of the province's museums contain more than 7,400 historical objects, and based on annual programs, efforts are being made to display a greater number of them to the public.

Take these with a grain of salt, since there is no officially confirmed statistics about them, it's just from daily talks with people...

Going to any hospital / clinic for 80% of population is simply not even an option... they even don't have money to pay for visits fee (around 1 cent or so in public hospitals and around 10 usd in private hospitals)

Goint to Psycology / psycothrapy is reduced by 99%, compared to 5 years ago... following closely by dentists by 95% ... costs are simply way more than their monthly salaries...
 
Also ... I rember previously spoken about the fate of humanitarian aids which were sent by US and other nations during the Bam earthquiake
