What's the difference between the D-1, D-5, D-10, D-11, D-15, D-16, D-22?

Is there any major differences besides the cooling flaps?

From what I read in my books, these seem to be the main changes.
I'm just reading and abridging. Apologies if I got anything wrong.
If you're looking for external differences, they are few until the bubbletop comes along.
