German gunsight parts WWII?

Good evening everyone,
I'm continuing my summer cleaning, and I found this piece of a gunsight that I think is of German origin. Could you tell me a little more about it?

I'm not sure it's German or WWII. Typically German gunsights will have part numbers all over it, even the glass will have a part number cast in the edge of it.
