Fantastic
I remember in the 70's Frank Tallman and his beautiful J2F came to Chino several times.
I found his way of keeping the oil off the aircraft wonderfully simple - several lengths of stove pipe held together with a bungee that extend all the way to the ground and stuffed with shredded cotton waste.
The waste catches the oil as it spews out the exhaust on start, a person on the ground collects the waste, unclips the stove pipes and stows them and the waste in the box in the back of the aircraft. Clean aircraft and clean tarmac with the minimum of effort.
Mi
