Hello Friends

1st post and I'm new to Props. I am thinking of buying this prop, anybody knows the model of the plane its used for and any idea about this propeller.

I'm not sure what you've got there. the badge certainly isn't an aircraft item, and I don't know of any aircraft that used a key-way on the prop shaft.
How big is it, and are there any numbers stamped on it?

its about 6 feet long. No, numbers on it

I read somewhere that these flat ends could be for airboats !

My gut feel is that it isn't an aircraft prop. It's possibly for an airboat or hovercraft.

On smaller horsepower engines, like 65 HP, they did use a tapered shaft with a key way.

The decals appear to be reproduction Hamilton Standard, and do not belong on this propeller.

What material is it made of, aluminum, steel, wood, composite?

I'm thinking it is an industrial ventilation fan; lots of pitch, low RPM, one piece, uses a keyway, low horsepower, very dainty hub area, and likely never made by Hamilton Standard. To me, nothing about it indicates "aircraft". Caveat emptor.
