I am looking for Information on a hawker hurricane shot down over bir ghirba libya 13/12/1941. Partial tail fin of z4844

Can anyone help me out please

Is there an error in any of your data? The production block that would have included Z4844 was a Hurricane Mk.I batch.

For 13 Dec 1941 I find:
Hurricane II from 1 Squadron SAAF shot down (2nd Lt G. R. C. Connell)
Hurricane II from 1 Squadron SAAF shot down (Plt Off Halliday)
Hurricane (?) from 272 Squadron RAF shot down (Flg Off Miles-Johnson)

No serials for any of these unfortunately.

For what it's worth I spot Hurricanes with similar serials with No.80 Squadron RAF around the time you indicate.
