Thanks for your answer, it looks like it is some kind of a brakeI believe that's a B-25 nose wheel. I presume the reverse side is not set up for a brake?

Thank you very much, these rims have never been used and came from Reykjavík RAF airport. I got 2 of them, they where going to be thrown in the trash, so you saved them with this info!That is the Hayes H-3-44A 30" Smooth Contour Light Duty Landing Wheel, that was used on the AT-9A and UC-64A: while it looked very similar to it's close cousin, the H-3-124 series, that was used as the nosewheel for B-25s, it also had provision for 12 x 2¼" hydraulic brakes.
