IIRC it is the first prototype of the Hs 125 ( Hs.125v-1 ) also marked as the Hs 125a. The D-EKAN was the second prototype marked as the Hs 125b. Although both of the planes looked almost the same, the HS 125b got a better ventilation of the engine compartment ( see the marked areas in the images ). The Hs 125a retained 90% of the design of its predecessor. So the Hs 125v1 was just the modified Hs 121 from the a strut-braced gull-wing plane to the low-wing aircraft receiving the wire braces from the fuselage and V-shaped struts to the landing gear instead the single legs of the Hs 121. The fuselage area behind the engine was the same contrary to the Hs 125b.
