Hi everyone, im new to these forums. Im actually in need of a favor. Looking through many posts here there are some incredible videos i dont know where you all find them. So first of all thanks for the opportunity to see all of them.

Now business :)

I am currently working on a virtual movie using the il2/fb/aep/pf game series, maybe some of you have heard of it or play it. Well the movie is based on a usaf fighter pilot on the western front providing escort etc, u know general roles of that sort. What i am looking for are video clips of anything to do with B17's, B24's, US Fighters either being shot down, crashing, on fire or anything like that, in particular clips that prevoke sad feeling. I know it sounds quite morbid and horrible but i need to express my conclusion in such a way to really finish the film. I wont use any of the clips in a untasteful fashion, they will be presented with the greatest respect possible.

Any videos or link are appreciated deeply, and welcome to the forum to me :D

The 8th Air Force Strikes Germany
This is the classic World War II documentary of a "maximum effort" US Eighth Air Force daylight bombing mission deep into Germany. There are no actors in "Target For Today". This film was shot on location under combat conditions and features the officers and men of the 8th Air Force going about their deadly business. All aspects of an actual major raid in 1943, including a strike on the FW 190 plant at Marienburg, from early planning through final touch down and crew debriefings are covered in this very detailed account.

There is probably no better account of the theory, strategy and tactics of an unescorted US Army Air Force bomber raid in early 1943.. While the film doesn't sugar coat the cost of these raids, there's no doubt that it also over states the effectiveness and sustainability of the American bombing campaign at that time Losses were not sustainable. (The audible moan from air crew when the targets and bombing altitudes are announced are all too real.)

You will need Realplayer to watch them. Get it here http://www.real.com/realplayer.html
