I'm going by the dogears at the rear of the flight deck. I counted planes and came up with 25 or so, which matches with the class as well. If I could see the bow from the side, that'd ascertain it.
I'm going by the fact it is a Japanese aircraft carrier and Adm Bull Halsey went out of his way to make them all submarines

The best I can do…

I am trying to help a friend, help the family of the late Mustang expert and author, Robert Gruenhagen. Bob died several months ago and his daughter is looking for a "home" for all of Bob's models ... I've seen about a dozen photos and to say the least, they are magnificently built. I cannot swear to it, but I believe that they're a "mix" of 1:72, 1:48 and 1:32 scale models. The family wants all of them to go to ONE person or museum or collection. I do not know the price asked but if anyone IS interested, please email me.

I'm attaching a few photos taken by my friend on a recent visit.

Please note: whomever acquires the collection will be responsible for packing them up, etc and shipping or taking them from their current location in Dallas to their new home.

Please also note: neither the friend of Bob's family nor I am receiving ANYTHING other than gratitude from Bob's family.

Let me know.

Thank you.

Tom
