I have a question to see if anyone knows how this website works:
https://www.worthpoint.com.

Is it useful? Are the listings legal? Are they complete?

I've come across it several times in my attempts to buy things for our Mosquito project. It's not a buy and sell site but rather a database of sales records of many other sites like EBay, etc.

Is it useful? A broad question but yes, if you want to get a rough value of an item and good photos of what it looks like.

The listings as I said are not offers to sell but rather a record of previous sales so the legality would seem irrelevant.

Are they complete? Measured against what? Every item over made? Sold? Probably not.

The site description ripped from the home page describes it well:

WorthPoint is the largest online database for researching antiques and collectibles values. Our platform aggregates approximately 1 billion historical sales records from expert-verified Curated Data™, Auction Market data from local and regional specialists and Online Market Data from major online platforms.

Thanks you Andy
