This Upward Identification Lamp was placed on top of the fuselage of a Lancaster but also on top of one of the more than 3.800 Airspeed Horsa Assault Gliders.
See the photos of an original WW2 Horsa Glider fuselage at the Glider Collection Wolfheze, the Netherlands http://www.glidermuseum.nl/

Are you rebuilding a Horsa? If so can you start a threat on the project. Note that the glider museum site is closed until March 2021

This should be what you want -- 5C-645. I do not have a number or photo of the mounting ring around it but that almost certainly was an Airspeed part. Luckily it looks like you have enough remains of the mounting ring to be able to make a good drawing and convert that to plastic in a 3D printer

To confirm you can see the AM emblem on the right side and the p/n will be in a similar area.

probably one of the lenses for it -- 5C-614

Horsa Mk1 Glider War Museum Overloon.jpg
I'm not building Horsa, but I'm refurbishing at the moment the Horsa glider rebuilt by the Assault Glider Trust at RAF Shawbury. This Horsa glider is now complete and in full glory on display at the largest war museum in the Netherlands, the War Museum Overloon. The glider already has a downward identification lamp. I'm now buying an Upward identification lamp.
