Specs list the RO-37 as being able to carry 12X 15kg bombs. Vertically , internally? I dont see any photos with external bomb racks. Also, did one during the Ethiopian invasion carry under wing markings? I'm thing no but did see one photo (a model... not my preferred reference source) with them.

A quick look at the images with the IMAM Ro.37/ IMAM Ro.37bis revealed that the bomb racks were under the fuselage behind the landing gear at the bottom wing roots. There could be either two small racks , one by one ) or one long. However the 12x15kg bombs configuration for the bomb load sounds odd rather. It looks like somebody could have recalculated the max bomb load of 180kg for number of 15kg bombs. The Italian 15M (15,5kg) and 15C (16kg) bomb length was about 79cm (31 in) and the 16cm (6.3 inch) diameter. The 12kg bomb 12F was even longer. So rather impossible to rack the 12 bombs having 2 bomb racks IMHO. But I may be wrong. Perhaps one of our Italian members can shed some light.
